Nothing much occurring our end really. Still waiting for little Molly to get her liver. She is doing OK at the moment and seems quite perky although she does get tired quickly.
Shaun and I have started a RHS (Royal Horticultural Society no less!) course level 2 in horticulture. We had a look at all the general gardening courses but thought, well, in for a penny in for a pound. So we went the whole hog and should end up with some qualifications at the end of it - if we pass!
So the course work turned up the other day. Cr*pping Hell!!!! Read the first page 3 times and didn't understand a word of it. Got a whole host of words to learn including thallophyllic (NOT phallothyllic Lucie, whoops....), cryptogams, monocotyledons and dicotyledons and thats only the very beginning. But we ARE enjoying it and its nice to study together. Just a tad daunting!
Karate is going well and I have lost a lot of "size" and the weight it dropping now too. I love it and could throw myself into it totally. My Sensei wants to get me back to grading where I was, thats 6th kyu (green belt) to those in the know. Its going to be hard work but I am so enjoying it. Its done me the world of good to get out there and forget, well almost forget, all the stresses that life is throwing at me at the moment. Mind you I have to keep the phone of in case the call comes in for Molly, and the phone going off (I have it set to "Rooster") usually cracks everyone up while I am running around like the headless chicken itself just in case its "The Call".
Do you know, I really haven't been up to much else? Quelle surprise. Oh, did go into town yesterday and surprised myself. It was the French annual market and of course I had to have a look. My sunglasses exploded on the way in the car (don't ask) so I tried to find a pair on the Mr French stall for a fiver. Found the style but the colour I wanted was buggered up (arm hanging out to one side). So I said "Je te donnez trois, et je l'arregle". Not perfect. But I got them for £3. Bent the arm back and?
mais tres bien!!!
