Possibly nearing the half way point now... which is soooooo scary!!
I am so frightened those after pics aren't going to be good enough. What if I don't look any different??
Weight this week 13stone zero.
But how long ago was day 26 as I didn't put the date?!
It's only Thursday.had a few worries as no hcore now for the summer, which had freaked me out! And away this weekend.... have made up for it now and realised that I can squeeze an early morning bike in on Friday before we go, phew.
All well so far and I was really tired yesterday. Did the sensible thing and ate carbs.
Monday: pt with Mike. Didn't think I had worked hard enough at the time but in hindsight I couldn't have done more as my muscles refused so I'm being too hard on myself.
Then straight to a short boxercise class at home, for daisy mainly but still worked some!
Then kettle at 8:30, and I really pushed that.
Tuesday was boxercise then a half hour bike.
Wednesday was bike at 7am then kettle at 12:30. And I was seriously tired then!!
Day off today, then bike tomorrow morning. Then off for the weekend! Back on Monday.

Kettlercise Challenge - Day,er, what?! 26!!
Things have settled into a nice routine. Food going well - no problems at all in fact. Not going to do a food diary really, as I am quite happy not thinking about it much. Its nice not to think about food all the time actually.
Today has been fruit and yoghurt for breakfast, 2 eggs scrambled in olive oil at mums as otherwise I would have missed, then shake for lunch. Full. Its 1.45.
Exercise going really well, but hip very sore this weekend. Unusually its also sore this morning and it was almost sciatic the other day. Phoning physio tomorrow as doc says its not the hip joint, which is great news as thats what I was worried about. Feels alternatively tight, sore and loose.
I was thinking about it whilst having to sit back during Aerobike (and trying to be all 'OM' about it and not stroppy). I can do the long, slow, hard work but the fast work I always have trouble with.
This is, I think, because I almost 'brace' my leg - lining up my joints and almost locking them into place - to hold my hip. In the fast sprints I don't have time for this and my leg goes all over the place and wrenches my hip around. Ow.
Thats my theory and I am going to make sure I tell the physio as I really have spent ages trying to work it out! There was no pain when the Doc manipulated my hip.
Lowers legs/shin splints can still be sore, but hey, thats not changing anytime soon!!!

On Dad's scales, which are the ones I used to start with, I am now 13st 10lb. Which I can't quite get over.
My new scales say 13st 5lb and they seem to tie in with Liz's that I used in January. So there is a 5lb differential.
Obviously I will enter my end weight using Dad's ones for consistency.
Starting weight in Jan, adding 5lb for Dad's scales 15st 2lb = 15st 7lb or 217lb
26 days. just under 4 weeks. Average of just under 4lb/week. I've checked and double checked this. A stone a month?! I can live with that.
Gobsmacked.
Total since Jan: 1st 11b. So just under a stone was lost JUST working out, as I didn't really worry too much about the diet thing at first.
Then another stone once adding in the diet.
First cheat was today - a corner of malt loaf, I enjoyed it and I don't feel guilty at all. Should I? nope.

Molly and Bacterial Overgrowth
We have been dealing with Bacterial Overgrowth we think - possibly for years!
Kings gave her oral antibiotics to clear it - metronizadole and gentimycin. Serious shit. Certainly cleared it but since then although we have a much more stable gut system, no bad breath and less wind, we now have pain. And sometimes its lots of pain. One problem traded for another.
Finally got probiotics sorted - long story there. Kings wanted the prescribed, GP didn't know what the hell they were. Finally got a scrip and took it to Boots - who had it in stock?!
All good. GP also put her on Buscopan which may or may not have helped, we aren't sure. She's coming off them next week to see whats what.
After talking to Kings yesterday we are getting her referred to a gastro specialist who happens to be her consultant at Derriford anyway, which is ideal as he knows her and she really likes him.
Liver results absolutely FAB which is excellent.

Kettlercise Challege Day 14 - 17 including Cheat Day
7th July 2014 Monday
Day 14 on the diet - thats 2 weeks. Bit disappointed in my weight loss this week I must say! Dads scales are a bit crap though, and I weighed myself on Liz's and they are pretty accurate on a hard floor. On those I was 13st 12.5lb, that was Saturday. On Dads I am 14st 3lb. Thats quite a bloody difference!! haha.
When I started working out in January I weighed myself on Liz's scales and was 15st 6lb. Thats 218.5lb. I now weight 192.5lb. Thats 26lb loss. Thats 1st 12lb. Nearly 2 stone!

New weight: 200lb (7lb loss, thats half a stone in 2 weeks).
So, was a bit pissed off, but seeing it in black and white, thats not so bad is it?!
And NO cheating at all in 2 weeks? I'm amazed at myself.
Funny thing was I thought it was a cheat (sorry! Treat Day as Mike will nag me otherwise) day today and its not! Thats tomorrow!! idiot! Luckily I worked it out last night so still on plan!
Food diary
8am Strawberries, a few blueberries, 6 almonds, green tea, Water, CLA
11am -eggs
2pm - meat & veg - probably turkey steak and brocolli, some tomatoes grilled or something.
2.30 work, not home until 8pm.
Plan:
4.30/5pm - shake (take milk in flask)
7pm - shopping, eat ham salad or similar (take in lunch box) and CLA
8pm - nuts
8.30 - Kettle
9.45 - shake
Another nice thing that happened? Went to Primark shopping for Daisy and tried on stuff for me. Some of which was too big (never happened, ever, in that shop).
Bought a size 18 ribbed vest top that I thought might stretch out under a baggy pink one I have. Looked pretty small but I thought if its too small, I will fit it in September.
Fits. Easily. Where did I go?!
Wish I had bought a smaller size in the work blouse now.... cos its lovely, but its going to be too big before long!
Cheat Day! Day 15, Tuesday.
Ate all sorts of stuff, but not as much as I thought. Result? Felt CRAP and couldn't wait to get back on the plan! It was a really busy day, so i didn't have time to really enjoy it, which was a shame, so I fell back to eat when hungry, the fastest thing. I did have chocolate, which was nice (nice and thats it), frazzles - EVIL!!!! Frazzles repeated on me and with all the wheat (2 sandwiches) I felt sick as a pig at class. OMG. Never again...... Next cheat day is my birthday and Im going out for a meal with my mum at lunchtime, think that will be nice and I will enjoy that.
Today is Day 17, Thursday.
Had a better day back on plan yesterday and danced all night at Eden sessions with the Pixies. Great fun. Fab Kettle class at lunchtime and really felt good - could have done another class :D It wasn't easy but I felt strong and in control.
A shift in my mind - not only CAN I do this, but its happening! I am that other person. Its unbelievable but the conviction is strong. In my head I am there already.
This morning I was physically exhausted. SOOO tired. But am happy and bouncy now I am up and working. Sadly no HCore as I have a meeting at school for my youngest to start attendance - that IS more important (not a lot is!!).
So back to Boxercise tomorrow - wanted to shove a bike class in but youngest has to be at school for 8.30 for a class trip, so thats way too tight! Doing the double on Sat - bike and Kettle, so looking forward to that. Then another day off? hmm.
Will be working on my press ups daily I think - also sitting against a wall! Both feel weak areas.

Kettlercise Challenge Days 11-13
Not much to report really! Exercise as follows:
Thursday (day 11)
- None.
Had to miss HCore as it was Shaun's birthday and we went out for a meal. I thought it would be really hard, but actually I didn't mind at all. I had a gorgeous steak and some salad, 2 grilled tomatoes and a pint of water!
Other people DID mind though. I was constantly asked if I was OK - really pissed me off! I was absolutely fine but it was like I couldn't possibly be happy if I wasn't eating crap. I have a goal, excuse me but I am really pleased to be doing it. Its NOT a hardship. So yes, I was pissed off in the end!! ha ha. No doubt it will all be put down to the diet, as apparently its the lack of sugar making me grumpy. Not PMT then? Eating healthily is making me grumpy? Actually, it really not. I was very hormonal last week - I can't help it, its the damn menopause. It annoys me that its blamed on lack of sugar. Like I can't cope without it and am grumpy because I can't have it. I DONT MISS IT. Its not a problem. What IS a problem is everyone assuming I am grumpy cos I am a fat bloater that can't do without it.
There, rant over.
Friday (day 12)
Insanity lunchtime- went really well, but round 3 nearly killed me! However, I need to remember that I am SO much fitter than I was. Power move? Pretty good actually!! Fit test next week will be interesting.
Boxercise pm - always love it. Hip was a bit 'loose', has caused me problems since. right laugh though and come out bouncing! Good job as I had shed loads of paperwork to do.
Saturday (day 13)
The double day!
Started with bike, then kettle. Hip decidedly weak. I tried to stay 'om' about it but it did really piss me off in kettle. I really wanted to work hard. Well, I DID work hard, but had to stop so often. And I beat myself up in my head - like its an excuse! Well it can't be, cos I am sitting here and its sore.
So I really should get an appointment with the doc. Erica and Mike both nagging me. But I'm stubborn and I am convinced there is nothing they can do cos I've had it most of my life! Its just 'loose'.
So I ought to get an appointment. I will. At some point!
Sunday -(day 14 ) - no exercise class. Going to Plymouth to get Daisy some clothes. Need an exercise class in there somewhere surely? Especially as I can't get to Hcore again next Thursday???? Boo. I love going and I love all my friends there. Its fun, I'm fit and feel invincible!!
NOTE: Trying to eat a bit more, not sure I am actually eating enough. Wierd.

Day 6 to 10 - Kettlercise Challenge
Saturday day 6
Up and going early today!

And omg has it RAINED! Luckily missed it this morning, but hammering down now.No doubt Shaun will be back any minute :D
Feel tired but really good - was worried I had overdone it, but really do feel fine! Erica v tired today :(
9 classes this week!!! and out tonight which will be fun, even though I am drinking water, haha. I don't mind actually. Its not like I need alcohol to be loud :/
2 people said that I had lost loads of weight today. Thats nice! The last 6 months have flown by. I have watched what I ate to a certain extent, but the weight that has come off so far is really mostly from exercise. It will be interesting to see how it comes off with the eating plan too.
Need to drink more water, probably. Drank about 750ml this morning but what you drink during exercise I don't think counts towards your 8 glasses. Bound to drink loads of the damn stuff tonight though! Wonder if Iwill have the energy to bounce about?!
Sunday Day 7
Sunday I had a hangover! From water?! Had a great time and jumped about most of the night, it was really hot. Mike said it was def dehydration as I was only drinking water so lost a lot of electrolytes.
Never mind - meant I had to sit down for HOURS to watch Glasto on telly!
Monday day 8
Week 1 completed!!! LOST 5 lbs! Nice one :D
Kettlercise in the evening - I did struggle. Think I may not actually be eating enough. Bizarre and a new one on me!
Tuesday day 9
Boxercise and bike. Ate more, also did the caffeine thing before class and took ISO energy drink with me. Was brilliant fun and I managed it just fine. Another good day.
Hip kicked off during Bike which was very annoying as its been really good. Hurt like hell but bizarrely settled really quickly and by the time I got to the car I wasn't even limping?! I did remember it was also playing up at Kettlercise a bit too.
Can't believe that NOTHING I shouldn't have eaten has passed my lips?? Oh, slight cock up - discovered I shouldn't have eaten mushrooms. Missed that one! Didn't eat many though, so all good.
Made a good omelette thing - fried up onion courgette, peppers, tomatoes in olive oil, all chopped up fine. Then added 2 eggs (whisked), herbs salt and pepper. Made a tortilla. It was only small but its done me 3 little meals. Really nice!
Wednesday day 10
Had strawberries and raspberries with a few cherries and a tblsp of natural yog for brek at 8. the left over omelette at 9.30. + CLA with the fruit.

Think I have lost another lb. Will try not to weigh until next Monday. Day off Monday! Woo hoo!! Cereal! Chocolate! Stuff! mmmm probably throw up!!
Baking a cake for Shaun for his birthday tomorrow - didn't even lick the spoon ;)
Hip still a bit sore off and on. Shins still improving. Neck has also been stiff. HOWEVER! When I started my neck was so sore and my abs so non-existant I couldn't even lift my shoulders off the matt. Now I am a sit up demon haha. Two new ladies came to bike yesterday and could hardly do anything but peddle. Size months ago THAT WAS ME. I remembered not being able to hover as i couldn't breathe, not being able to stand up and pedal for more than 5 beats. Seeing stars as my blood pressure went sky high. The only thing that really slows me up on bike now is my hip. What a change! I hope they come back as the changes do come so fast.
Kettle done -went really well today. Had ISO during and ProPlus before (seeing as I don't drink coffee). Hip was def dodgy and had trouble with getups on that side. Mike told me to do lunges instead. So frustrating! But I have to remember that its LOADS better than before and the more weight I lose the better it will probably get.
